- Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM; 35 hours per week
ROLE IMPACT
As a pivotal HR & Benefits Specialist, you will shape employee satisfaction by managing benefit programs, handling HR inquiries, and ensuring precise documentation and compliance. This role fosters a seamless employee experience through accurate administration, supportive engagement, and clear communication with team members and leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate benefits enrollment cycles and collaborate with brokers on plan updatesLead benefit orientations for new hires and manage COBRA and coverage changesReconcile insurance invoices and ensure timely billing accuracyOversee 401k plan administration, compliance documentation, and annual auditsManage leave of absence requests including FMLA documentation and manager supportServe as the initial contact for employee relations, coaching, and policy enforcementContribute to wellness, engagement, and leadership development programsFacilitate offboarding processes including exit interviews and asset recoveryAddress unemployment claims and routine HR-related inquiriesCompile reports on turnover trends, survey data, and HR analyticsEngage in SHRM and DallasHR events within budgetary scopeSupport additional HR tasks and projects as neededMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience in HR and benefits administrationBachelor's degree requiredHigh accuracy in data analysis and reportingStrong math and organizational skillsInterest in the arts or personal creative pursuitsCORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP)Paylocity (preferred)Familiarity with self-funded benefits plans (preferred)LEGAL NOTICE
