We specialize in high-performance façade systems including metal panels, glass walls, and unitized curtain wall systems. We're currently seeking a detail-driven and collaborative Drafter to join our in-house engineering team in Canton, MA .

From intricate glass facades to custom architectural panels, you’ll help translate complex design concepts into precise, buildable solutions.

About the Role :

At Sunrise Erectors, our engineering and drafting team plays a key role in the success of every project. Our drafters are not only technically skilled, but also creative problem-solvers who understand fabrication processes and construction coordination.

You will :

Develop custom solutions to design challenges

Use Autodesk Revit to generate shop drawings and fabrication packages

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers

Contribute to design-assist services and project coordination

Key Responsibilities :

Interpret architectural drawings and translate them into detailed shop drawings

Produce cohesive sets of shop drawings including plans, sections, and details

Occasionally create 3D models to assist in visualizing designs

Work with project management teams to integrate design changes

Prepare fabrication release packages for in-house production

Contribute to submittal packages and coordination efforts

Ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance in all drawings

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design, or related field (preferred)

Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit strongly preferred (AutoCAD experience considered with willingness to learn Revit)

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

Previous experience with façade systems is a plus, but not required

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Position Type : On-site (Canton, MA)

Pay Range : Depends on Experience (DOE)

Schedule : Full-Time
