The Wastewater Senior Project Manager is a key member of project delivery and business development to support our Minnesota operations working in conjunction with other Wastewater staff across all AE2S geographies and our Wastewater Practice Leader.
Responsibilities
Serve as a technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentor for junior engineers within the Wastewater Practice to empower the team.Perform a variety of team roles within project delivery (project management, QA / QC, and performing) as they relate to wastewater.Responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed to provide extreme client services to build lasting relationships.Grow market and technical presence within the region through working with the AE2S team to prioritize client pursuits, build client relationships, provide client management, identify opportunities, and support competitive proposal pursuits.Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related fieldRegistration as a Professional Engineer in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months15+ years consulting experience in wastewater treatmentStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to travel as required for project / client responsibilities and business developmentAbility to work remotely and manage projects, clients, and project team membersPrior project management experienceAll applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any / all of the following : criminal / civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulationsPreferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in civil engineering or related fieldProven client relationshipsKnowledge of design standards and permittingKnowledge of Colorado funding programsPhysical Qualifications
