Job Title : Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves working closely with test assemblies, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PCB soldering and testing, and a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Perform debug and test assemblies to the component level using block diagrams and schematics.
- Maintain and upkeep testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot operator problems effectively and collaborate with leadership on training and process improvements.
- Provide training and ongoing support to Test operators.
- Communicate problems to Test Engineer and / or leader.
- Assist in experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
- Recommend additional equipment needs for product debug areas to leadership and / or Test Engineers.
- Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
- Comply with all company security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Work on problems of limited scope by following standard practices and procedures.
- Learn to use professional concepts and apply company policies to resolve routine issues.
- Receive detailed instructions on all work.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in soldering, assembly, and electrical engineering.Experience with schematics, troubleshooting, and electronics.Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.Ability to debug circuit boards and test electronic components.Skill in utilizing basic hand and power tools.Minimum of 1 year experience soldering on PCBs.Minimum of 1 year experience testing PCBs.An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.Understanding of wiring and blueprint reading.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00 / hr.
