Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift (Temp-to-Hire)

Location : Fort Lauderdale, FL

Shift : 2nd Shift

Job Type : Contract to Hire

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping machines running smoothly? We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production facility during the 2nd shift. What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment including motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, and fans.
  • Perform predictive maintenance and initiate part replacements to prevent downtime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to maintain and improve equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and update machine documentation.
  • Apply continuous improvement techniques to enhance equipment performance and production efficiency.
  • Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Solid understanding of machine drive trains, spindles, pneumatics, hydraulics, and fluid systems.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical failures.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and use of hand tools.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bonus : Experience with holds and controls.

    • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.80 - $25.80 / hr.
