Full timeJob Description of EHS Manager
An immediate need for an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional. The candidate will be credentialed (e.g. – BS, MS, OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, ASP, GSP, CSP, CHST, STSC, etc.).
The EHS professional will work for the Construction Manager overseeing the a commercial construction project. Duties will include but are not limited to :
Oversee the Environmental, Health and Safety compliance for the projectConduct documented daily EHS inspectionsDeliver site specific project EHS orientationsAssist with coordinating crane activitiesParticipate in the Daily Hazard Analysis processInvestigate incidents to determine root cause and develop corrective and preventative actionsWork closely with the project leadership teams to assist with facilitating and injury free workplaceCollect and analyze leading and lagging indicators to determine trends and put actions into place to address concernsReview EHS plans and assist with plan development when neededEnsure contractors are adhering to their EHS plansMake certain craft workers are appropriately trained for their required tasksPartner with trade contractor EHS professionals and manage the project safety leadership teamAct as liaison with the client’s risk management teamDeliver various EHS training modulesAssist in managing a positive reinforcement programPreferred Minimum Requirements
5+ years of experience in EHS specializing in constructionKnowledge of working airport expansions / refabricationsComputer knowledge and efficiency, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office productsBS / MS in a related fieldOSHA 500 / 510ASP / GSP / CSP / CHST / STSC
