Position : Sample Librarian

Reports to : Showroom General Manager

Position Overview

The Sample Librarian manages the sample room inventory, ensuring all memo samples are current and requests are fulfilled promptly. Responsibilities include maintaining textile displays and pricing, handling client requests, and supporting showroom operations. This role is fast-paced and requires being on your feet most of the day.

Primary Responsibilities

• Fill sample requests and order missing samples
• Maintain sample room inventory and order supplies as needed
• Manage textile displays, create new displays, and update pricing
• Ensure showroom supplies like shopping bags, pencils, and memo pads are stocked
• Assist clients and sales associates with requests over the phone and in person
• Support outside sales by sending tear sheets and memo samples
• Maintain marketing materials and tear sheet library
• Handle shipping, receiving, and office supply orders
• Ensure showroom appearance is maintained and welcoming
• Acknowledge every client entering the showroom
