Logistics and Supply Chain Manager

Location : Alameda, CA

Pay Range : $25-29 / hr

Full-Time, Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to support the smooth operations for a leading company in the food and beverage sector! In this role, your supply chain background will help keep shipments on track, solve delivery issues fast, and make sure every pallet reaches its destination right on time.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and update shipment statuses so you and your team always know where stock is and when it’s arriving.
  • Work directly with warehouse staff and transport partners to track down missing freight, solve delivery gaps, and organize physical transfers between locations.
  • Collect, handle, and process key paperwork such as bills of lading (BOL), proofs of delivery (POD), and invoices – making sure every shipment’s documentation is complete and accounted for.
  • Quickly handle damaged or missing loads : gather information, submit claims, and keep everyone informed so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Schedule and coordinate pickups to keep inventory moving efficiently, making sure trucks and trailers are ready for loading.
  • Stay in contact with team members and carriers via phone and email so no detail is missed and all updates are shared promptly.

Who You Are

  • Experienced with inventory management, distribution, or shipping
  • Proficient with inventory management systems and carrier portals (Project 44 experience a plus!)
  • Skilled with developing and implementing KPI’s in a logistics environment
  • Familiar with Microsoft D365, Outlook, and basic Excel reports so you can easily manage shipments and paperwork.
  • Organized and detail-focused, you know how to juggle priorities in a busy environment.
  • Clear and reliable communicator who keeps everyone from forklift drivers to dispatchers in the loop.
  • Engaged team player who’s ready to help wherever needed to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
