Position Overview

The Test Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and ensuring product quality meets aerospace and defense industry standards. This role involves working with bench test equipment and automated test systems to perform electrical evaluations, record data, and participate in continuous improvement activities on the production floor.

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned test or bench test equipment
  • Program ATE or benchtop testers
  • Run calibration and golden units
  • Conduct electrical tests and maintain accurate data logs
  • Perform visual inspections of units and test sockets
  • Follow all Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) guidelines
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Comply with all safety regulations
  • Record and report production data
  • Analyze production and test data
  • Set up and perform equipment changeovers
  • Use diagnostic and measurement tools effectively
  • Demonstrate strong coordination, motor skills, and manual dexterity

Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree in Electronics
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in electronics testing and component-level troubleshooting
  • Proficient in interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Solid understanding of Ohm's Law and fundamental electrical principles
  • Familiarity with electronic testing tools and equipment
  • SAP system experience
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively to solve problems
  • Export Control : This job position may include access to controlled information or technology covered under applicable U.S. export control laws.
