The Media Specialist will be part of a team that consistently seeks out new and innovative media partner solutions to propel the brand forward. The Media Specialist will work closely with others in the Marketing team to create national campaigns across the funnel. The ideal candidate will be a relationship builder who has a deep passion for the media industry. This role is a key player within the organization to drive our campaigns, but is also externally facing to our media partners. Responsible for the development of innovative media plans and tactics within the highly competitive insurance category Is constantly monitoring the media landscape and is excited to test new opportunities to drive the brand forward Provide guidance on audience and data strategies to leverage in programmatic campaigns Evaluate performance and create recommendations focused on DSP selection Provide insight and context on re-marketing strategies and tactics Thinks critically about media proposals and has the ability to align media plans to campaign strategies Understands media marketplace trends and how to capitalize on them Drives media negotiations directly or via marketing agencies Briefs media agencies on campaign goals, objectives and media parameters Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5-7 years of work experience in media planning / strategy / execution Network, agency, media publisher or large brand experience preferred Experience in programmatic media planning or execution and leveraging media measurement tools / software Strong written, presentation and analytical skills preferred Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects at once Items of Note : May require travel via commercial transportation or motor vehicles May work irregular hours, including weekends / holidays Our Benefits Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38 : 45-hour work week!
