Salesforce Systems Analyst

We're actively seeking a talented Salesforce Systems Analyst to join our Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) team in Newport Beach, CA.

As a Salesforce Systems Analyst, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by working closely with our Consumer Markets Division stakeholders to enable and optimize the CRM to align with business processes.

How you will make an impact :

  • Gather and understand stakeholder business needs. Clearly define current and to-be business processes and document business and solution requirements
  • Represent business stakeholders in the planning and analysis of solutions to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical team members to solve business problems with Salesforce integration solutions
  • Assist in defining required features and mapping Salesforce features to client business processes
  • Show your proficiency with the Salesforce platform, including ability to perform basic Salesforce configuration, lead development of Proof of Concept (POC) solutions, and demo software features and capabilities to business stakeholders
  • Perform QA testing for iterative development cycles across various Salesforce projects
  • Provide excellent customer support to internal application users, including managing and supporting production issues and requests, research and troubleshooting data issues, and supporting new user onboarding and training

The experience you will bring :

  • 2+ years of experience in translating business needs into effective software solutions, in the role of a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst
  • Ability to understand business concepts and evaluate the impact of business changes on systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills, working in an Agile software delivery model
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
  • Experience working with distributed external resources and vendor teams (onshore and offshore)
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, Marketing, or Experience Clouds preferred
  • Basic configuration experience in Salesforce, including reports, dashboards, and list views preferred

    Base Pay Range :

    The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

    43.92 - $53.68
