Medical Laboratory Scientist Lead Nights (7-on / 7-off) | North Texas Region

A respected healthcare system in the North Texas region is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist III to lead and support overnight lab operations on a 7-on / 7-off night shift. This is an exciting opportunity for a certified MLS professional ready to take on more responsibility in a setting that values clinical excellence, collaboration, and work-life balance. Youll work in a state-of-the-art facility with a team thats as committed to supporting each other as they are to delivering accurate, life-saving diagnostics. $5,000 Sign-On Bonus available for new hires!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor a full range of laboratory tests in compliance with department protocols and regulatory standards
• Supervise or assist in managing nightly operations, providing guidance and mentorship to team members
• Maintain rigorous quality control and assurance processes, ensuring accurate and timely test reporting
• Perform instrument troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to support patient care coordination
• Maintain inventory, safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in ongoing educational activities and help train or orient new lab personnel
