Ability to work in and lead a team Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees in the organization, both verbally and written. Must be dependable and reliable
Overview
This position plans, directs, and coordinates work of the local survey department.
Responsibilities
- Maintains client relations, acquires new clients and projects
- Provides guidance / direction to Survey PM’s, Project Surveyors and Survey Technicians
- Ensures compliance with TBPELS rules and regulations
- Prepares proposals
- Manages project budgets and client invoicing
- Responsible for quality control of drawings and legal descriptions prepared by others
- Signs and seals completed drawings, legal descriptions, and surveyor’s reports
- Adheres to corporate QA / QC guidelines and principles
- Manages, trains, and mentors other members of the Survey Department
