CAN Community Health is now hiring : Medical Assistants – Sign-On Bonus if you apply between August 27, 2025 and October 29, 2025

Locations :   Florida  - Cape Coral, Clearwater, Daytona, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Lake Worth, Miami, Northport, Orlando, Pensacola, Sarasota, St. Petersburgh, Tampa,  Texas  - Arlington,  S. Carolina  -   Columbia,  Virginia  - Norfolk,  Nevada  - Las Vegas,  Arizona  - Phoenix

Schedule : Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday-Thursday 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm Friday 8 : 30am-12 : 30 pm

What You’ll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll be the heartbeat of our clinic, supporting physicians and patients with :

  • Medical intake procedures include vital signs and history.
  • Record and reports symptoms, reactions, treatments and changes in patient’s conditions.
  • Perform immunizations and injections
  • Perform phlebotomy
  • Document patient care
  • Complete medical prior authorization and documentation requirements
  • Collaborate with clinic team members to coordinate patient services.
  • Creating a warm, welcoming experience for every patient
  • Assist with Front Desk tasks as necessary to support clinic including :
  • Greeting patients
  • Answering s
  • Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
  • Collect and process payments
  • Verifying insurance information
  • What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program
  • Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred—or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • CPR certification
