Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at Park Veterinary Hospital

Durham, NC

Be the anesthesia-forward RVT who keeps our 8-doctor hospital moving—supporting safe procedures, clear client communication, and a smooth daily flow across a seven-day practice.

    • Your Day-to-Day

  • Procedure support : pre-op checks, induction assistance, primary anesthesia monitoring, recovery oversight.
  • Clinical operations : room tech duties, triage support, treatments, clear charting, and inventory / restock.
  • Client experience : translate medical jargon into friendly guidance and education; set expectations and follow-up.
  • Team flow : partner with DVMs and RVTs to keep schedules tight and patients safe in a seven-day operation.

    • Your Superpowers (Must-Haves)

  • Current NC RVT (or eligible) and reliable for weekend coverage.
  • Excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-doctor setting.
  • Bonus : Fear-Free training and / or anesthesia-specific CE credentials.
  • 24.00–$28.00 / hour (experience-based).

    • Schedule

  • FT : 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
  • PT30 : Fri–Sun or Sat–Mon.
  • Open 7 days; exploring extended evening hours.
