Description : Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician performs ongoing preventive and routine maintenance procedures, troubleshoots, and quickly repairs mechanical or electrical problems as appropriate and keeps equipment and systems in proper working order.

Requirements :
Qualifications and Experience Minimum
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience in construction / building maintenance. Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers, and other building systems. Knowledge of safety data sheets (SDS). OSHA certification. Must be well-organized and able to prioritize tasks. Good written, verbal, communication, and math skills. Information technology skills. Unless waived by management, a valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record is required.
Preferred
Post-secondary degree in a related field or certification from a professional trade organization or apprenticeship. Advanced knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers and other building systems.
