Description

Dixon Brass is looking for an Assembler to join our team! The ideal candidate will assemble parts according to established procedures and quality standards. This position requires a person who can meet required production goals, work as part of a team to improve processes, and train others. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts according to procedure and quality standards
  • Meet the required pieces per hour
  • Communicate with other employees on the manufacturing floor
  • Work safely around equipment and coworkers
  • Learn to operate hand tools and machining equipment
  • Package finished products

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Previous assembly and manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude is ideal
  • Flexibility and dexterity with hands and fingers to manipulate parts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizing skills
  • A great team player
  • Ability to stand throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and maneuver various components throughout the shift
  • Steel-toe shoes are required for this position
