Sr. Pricing Analyst Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position : OST Inc. is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst with a strong background in complex pricing proposals and government contracts. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering competitive and compelling price proposals. Pricing Skills / Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage complex price proposals for contracts spanning a variety of types including CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, CR, FFP, T&M, and IDIQ
- Develop and present pricing strategies grounded in comprehensive research and analysis of draft solicitations, past solicitations, and pertinent historical spending patterns and win / loss data
- Create complex, accurate, and FAR compliant pricing models as the basis for submission of federal government pricing proposals; work with and modify existing company pricing models; adapt all models to support and integrate with client-provided pricing templates
- Develop and present well-founded price assumptions, financial summaries, and assessments of risks and opportunities to senior leadership prior to proposal submission
- Develop cost / price proposal narratives and business volumes to validate the cost and pricing approach while ensuring compliance with all solicitation prerequisites
- Collaborate with and support functional support staff from Business Development, Contracts, Procurement, Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, etc. to deliver compliant and compelling price proposals
- Prepare customized reports and analyses to address specific needs and enhance pricing efforts
- Play an integral role in supporting audit activities and participate in clarifications or negotiations related to cost proposals. Interface with government audit agencies including DCAA / DCMA during proposal audits
- Assist with the development of smart and efficient pricing standards, strategies and best practices where applicable and integrate the same throughout the organization
- Develop and maintain a strategic pricing database for use in future competitive analysis
Position Requirements :
Minimum of six (6) years of direct and recent experience in U.S. Government pricing, preferably at a government contractor professional services firm of at least $300M in annual revenueBachelor's degreeDemonstrated strong analytical abilities and business acumen for developing sound financial analyses and strategic pricing recommendationsProven expertise in crafting cost / price proposal narratives and delivering comprehensive responses to pricing evaluation notices, final proposal revisions, and related tasksKnowledge and practical experience with U.S. Government regulations and compliance, including FAR, DFARS, and CASProficiency in both independent work and collaborative teamwork in a dynamic environment with shifting deadlines and high-pressure situations for delivering time-sensitive projectsEffective multitasking capabilities to manage multiple assignments simultaneouslyExceptional skills in organization, written and oral communicationProficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in MS ExcelThis is a full-time position paying a base salary of $ 95,000, full benefits, and has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance.
