Maintenance Technician – Food Production

Westfield, IN

25–$35 / hour (Based on experience)

Monday – Friday | 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM (Flex hours as needed)

Allegiance Staffing is hiring for a growing, fast-paced food production company in Westfield, IN. We’re seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician with mechanical and electrical skills, and experience supporting high-performance manufacturing equipment. This is a direct hire opportunity with excellent growth potential and a weekday schedule.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain PM schedules

Monitor and adjust production floor equipment (60–70% of shift)

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Maintain documentation of repairs, inspections, and corrective actions

Manage spare parts inventory and reorder supplies as needed

Ensure compliance with food safety and OSHA regulations

Analyze and resolve breakdowns to prevent production delays

Ideal Background & Qualifications :

Experience :

Maintenance experience in manufacturing

PLC troubleshooting (Siemens preferred)

Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Familiarity with TPM programs and basic welding / electrical work a plus

Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required

Skills :

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals

Strong communication and team collaboration

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, walk / stand for long periods, and work in fast-paced environments

Self-starter with a safety-first mindset

Additional Requirements :

Valid driver’s license

Clean background (no theft or violence)

Clean drug screen

Strong attendance and punctuality
