The Marshes of Skidaway Island is recruiting for a hospitality focused Executive Chef to join our team!
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an Executive Chef :
- The Executive Chef is a working chef and provides leadership in all kitchens and modeling our hospitality culture.
- The chef is responsible for the overall coordination of food preparation for the entire community.
- The chef will ensure recipes and standards are maintained and produce the highest quality food product.
- Included in the chef’s responsibilities are cooking and baking activities, dietary standards, sanitation, quality and nutritional value of food.
- The chef is expected to oversee the training and development of culinary personnel, and to maintain a positive work environment for staff.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have :
A minimum of ten years' experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a hotel, private club, fine dining restaurant or other similar operation is preferred.Excellent management, interpersonal, team building, and communication skills.Post secondary courses in restaurant management, nutrition or related field preferred.
