Job Description :
- The client Customer Centric Solutions Team is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to work on custom engineering opportunities that enable the sale of standard client Products.
- The primary responsibilities of this position are to work with client customers, sales personnel, engineering teams, alliance partners, and contract manufacturers to define, document, design, deploy and sustain client products tailored to meet specific customer requirements for large scale turnkey engineering solutions.
- The ideal candidate has experience and knowledge regarding client products and system level design.
Core Job Responsibilities :
This is a multi-functional role dealing with diverse engineering needs, including the ability to gather requirements, generate specification documents, and interface with alliance partners, contract manufacturers and internal personnel to design, deploy and sustain custom solutions worldwide.This is a high visibility role within client requiring daily interaction with client customers, client Alliance Partners, client Sales Teams, client Engineering Teams, and Executive Management.The role will include :
Interacting with a wide variety of client customers, client staff, external alliance partners and suppliers in support of designing, implementing, and sustaining of custom solutionsGenerating requirements documents, statements of work and Bills of MaterialsDefining and implementing project plans, managing milestones, and holding reviews to assure systems meet requirements and readiness for deploymentSpecifying, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying turnkey automated solutionsDirecting support personnel, managing project technical deliverables, guiding technical decisions and driving field found issues to resolutionExperience and Skill Requirements :
Minimum Requirements :
B. S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering TechnologyMinimum of 7 years relevant industry experience in a Hardware Systems Design Role or a Test Engineering Design RoleAbility to work on ITAR projects and qualify for DoD ClearancesStrong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics & computer architecturesUnderstanding of high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C / C++ / C#)Demonstrated understanding of the following concepts and principles :
Sources of measurement errorAppropriate selection of instrumentation and equipmentUnderstanding of schematics and wiring diagramsIntegration of hardware and softwareBill of Materials creation and reviewFamiliarity with CAD and PCB design toolsStatistical analysis of data (Cp, Cpk, GR&R)Preferred Skills :
Hands on use of schematic capture tools and PCB design toolsKnowledge in Component Supplier SelectionKnowledge in Compliance Certifications (CE, UL, TUV, Etc.)Hands on use of NI Hardware Platforms and InstrumentsHands on use of NI LabVIEW and Test StandDemonstrated ability to :
