Job Description : Inventory Specialist
The Inventory Specialist oversees and maintains the accuracy of field inventory — commonly referred to as “trunk stock” — that Kerecis sales representatives carry. This role ensures compliance with inventory protocols, identifies and resolves discrepancies, and supports continuous improvement in inventory processes. The Inventory Specialist coordinates frequently with colleagues in sales and other departments to ensure proper inventory control and timely reporting.
This full-time role is located in a Kerecis office and reports directly to the Field Inventory Manager.
Essential Functions
Inventory Management
- Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing field inventory using digital tools and tracking systems
- Conduct monthly inventory audits with sales representatives and investigate any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records in compliance with company standards
- Develop and implement procedures to optimize field inventory control
Reporting & Communication
Prepare and deliver detailed inventory reports to management and relevant stakeholdersWork closely with logistics teams to ensure inventory alignmentProvide clear inventory tracking guidelines to sales teams and support complianceIdentify trends and provide actionable insights to the Field Inventory ManagerSystems & Processes
Utilize inventory tracking software (e.g., ERP systems, barcode scanning tools)Uphold company inventory policies and safety proceduresSupport process improvementsAdditional tasks and responsibilities as assignedRequirements : Requirements
