The Environmental Service Worker II position may include, but is not limited to :
Follow verbal and written safety guidelinesPerform required cleaning functions for designated work areaDocument all daily assignmentsFlexibility due to changes in schedule and / or staff shortageDemonstrate proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all aspects of the jobReport any equipment issues to appropriate person or departmentEngage with staff and patients in a professional mannerRecord keeping and equipment storageRegular and Hazardous waste handling as well as operating waste processing equipmentSterile area cleaning such as the Operating rooms, sterile processing, and MRIDelivering supplies to correct locationOperating the laundry equipment as well as changing curtainsVarious utility duties as assignedRequirements :
1 year of housekeeping and / or service-related fieldFloor care experienceAble to lift / push / pull 10lbs to 25lbs dailyDemonstrate a high level of customer service towards staff and patientsKnowledge of electronic devices (computer, tablets, etc.)Ability to read, write, communicate and understand written instructions given in EnglishAbility to stand and walk for long periods of timeMust have the ability to plan, initiate responsibilities and follow through with the minimum directionStrong communication skills, attitude, and attendancePreferred Qualifications :
