Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a knack for the construction industry? We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Permanent Project Manager. This role is integral to our organization, providing leadership and management for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware, frames, and doors, and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. With a minimum of 5 years of experience, you will be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of our construction projects from design to completion.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include :
1. Overseeing all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
2. Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
3. Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
4. Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
5. Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
6. Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
7. Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
8. Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
9. Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
10. Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables and managing customer satisfaction within project transition period.
Qualifications :
To be considered for the Permanent Project Manager role, candidates must possess the following :
1. A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, specifically with hardware, frames, and doors.
2. Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
3. Proven ability to solve problems creatively, demonstrating excellent decision-making skills.
4. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
5. Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
6. Excellent analytical skills.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
8. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
9. Excellent client-facing communication skills.
10. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
