Mobile Diversion is a short-term stabilization service funded through the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). Our primary goal is stabilizing the individual in their current environment to avoid restrictive placements such as psychiatric holds hospitals incarceration etc. Mobile Diversion utilizes a combination of wraparound teams support training / coaching individual skill building resource development crisis management training and other individualized interventions to achieve stabilization. Benefits

Responsibilities

The Behavior Analyst provides clinical services direction support and general oversight for the Mobile Diversion program.

  • Responsible for managing the Behavior Intervention Specialists and the development of clinical and behavioral supports program and plan development for the individuals we serve in the Mobile Diversion Program under the supervision of the Clinical Director
  • Leads bi-weekly clinical meetings to update other relevant team members of progress and barriers for effective interventions
  • Participates in direct supports including individual observations assessments collaboration meetings and training
  • Maintain positive relationships with individuals being assisted and their other supports; Ability to maintain composure in the middle of a crisis / high intensity escalation
  • Implementation of person-centered intervention strategies and training for individuals to decrease aggressive destructive and other behaviors that compromise their ability to remain in the community
  • Participate in developing supporting and training of Direct Support Professionals Leads and Regional Management teams related to the individuals care and supports the implementation of PBSPs and other relevant plans
  • Responsible for supporting the clinical team in the development of specific support plans and other plans and protocols as needed
  • Utilizes data based decisions and regularly checks on the individuals progress to ensure that adjustments are made and that the strategies / interventions implemented by staff are effective
  • Must complete home and community visits / supervision to support referrals their caregivers and MDS staff
  • Adheres to current local laws regulations and policies related to supporting vulnerable individuals
  • Mediates disagreements / conflict across team members including the supported individuals relevant team members using a person-centered approach with the individual supported in mind
  • Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Must be available after regular business hours and during crisis situations to provide consultation to staff and management
  • Experience with individuals with developmental / intellectual disabilities in Supported Living Community Protection and / or Crisis Diversion is preferred
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field (Behavior analysis psychology education or related discipline). (pay dependent on education and experience)
  • Three years experience as a qualified Behavior Specialist / Trainer
  • Relevant license highly preferred i.e. BCBA BCaBA RBT LABA LBA CBT etc. (pay dependent on education and experience)
  • Must be able to travel to various program locations and work flexible hours which can include evenings and weekends depending on the needs of the individuals we support
  • Proof of vehicle insurance and an acceptable driving record
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation between work sites
  • Able to pass federal and state background checks and maintain clearance during employment
  • Ability to interface with multiple data collection systems (e.g. Therap ALP Microsoft Forms etc.)
