Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler, where you will be responsible for pulling customer orders based on invoices and tickets, assisting the burn table operator, and managing large steel orders. This role involves a significant amount of physical activity, including bending, kneeling, and walking throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders accurately using invoices and tickets.
• Assist the burn table operator in pulling products for orders.
• Reorganize material in 'monkey racks' to ensure efficient stock management.
• Utilize large cranes to move substantial steel orders safely.
• Implement the company's color system to organize raw materials based on steel thickness.
• Load and unload trucks, assisting customers who pick up their orders.
• Communicate with management to prioritize daily tasks and ensure customer service is the top priority.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 / hr.
