We are seeking a Locum Tenens OB Hospitalist in Michigan.

Location : Michigan

Rate : Open & Negotiable

Shift : 24-hour shifts; 7 10 shifts / month

Start Date : 8 / 1 / 2025

End Date : 3 / 31 / 2026

Position Details :

Patient Population : Obstetric patients, including high-risk and low-risk pregnancies

Setting : In-House Labor and Delivery Unit with designated call room

Responsibilities : Labor & delivery coverage, including ER consults, OB / GYN procedures, and emergency response

Required Procedures :

Low & High Risk Pregnancy Management

OB Ultrasounds (Level I & II)

Amniocentesis

Vaginal Deliveries, Forceps Deliveries, C-Sections, VBACs

Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations

Office and Surgical Gynecology (IUD, Colposcopy, Cystoscopy, LEEP, Tubal Ligation, Ectopic Pregnancy, etc.)

EMR System : Epic

Support Staff : RNs, Residents (no APPs; CNMs cover Monday PM)

Days Per Month : 7 10

On-Call / Weekends : In-house shifts; includes weekdays and weekends

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible REQUIRED

Michigan State License HIGHLY PREFERRED

BLS Certification REQUIRED

Ability to perform full scope of OB Hospitalist procedures REQUIRED
