Job Description

Join Strobel Energy Group as a Mechanical Designer / Drafter and be part of an innovative team supporting industrial energy projects across the U.S. In this role, you will create Autodesk Plant 3D drawings and construction documents and collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and client teams. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive on managing technical design with real-world construction execution in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Create P&ID and 3D models using Autodesk Plant 3D and AutoCAD
  • Prepare construction drawings, details, and project deliverables
  • Collaborate with engineering and construction teams on design solutions
  • Coordinate project phases from concept through construction
  • Maintain and update design standards, specs, and documentation

    • Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Plant 3D and AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of piping, valves, pumps, and related equipment
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills
  • Autodesk Certification preferred
