The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading technical projects focused on developing our casino table games portfolio. This is a position based in the US, but with impact on our gaming channel across the globe. This colleague will be responsible for the definition, evolution, and support of critical products and services for us, leading a multitude of technical work streams. Projects for our team come in all shapes and sizes and range from improvements and expansion of existing electromechanical and embedded systems products to end-to-end development of products, services and even manufacturing process. This role will work hand in hand with our global engineering teams to support our growth ambitions in the casino gaming market.

What you’ll do as a Project Engineer :

  • Lead technology focused innovation projects for our casino portfolio.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (internal and external) to define product requirements and specifications.

  • Project planning, budget oversight, resource management, documentation control
  • Contribute to and guide product design, development, testing, end-user integration and support for casino table games equipment.
  • Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and product optimization based on technical and / or commercial requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in the development of new product features and enhancements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and quality assurance teams.

    • We’re looking for a Project Engineer with :

  • Critical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills. Need to be adept at assimilating a lot of technical information and able to solve complex issues, including and identifying root causes corrective actions, design changes and work arounds.
  • Detail and process oriented with a bias towards organization, planning and decision making.
  • Excellent communication skill for interfacing with local and global teammates, customers and internal stakeholders
  • Able to flex between working independently and within a small team
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related field with relevant experience in component or product design.
  • At least 3 yrs. experience in an engineering role, either in development or testing / qualification of mechanical or electromechanical products
  • Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD and MS Office Suite
  • Comfortable reading electrical schematics and reviewing machine control requirements
  • Experience with PCBs, electromechanical components and manufacturing / assembly principles.
  • Experience writing and implementing technical process control documentation
  • Experience creating functional test plans and factory acceptance tests
  • Experience with data capture, analysis interfaces and dashboards.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to quickly respond to changing priorities
  • Superior communication skills (listening, verbal and written)

  • Frequent use of computer
  • Must be able to lift to 35 pounds, walk up and down steps and sit for prolonged periods of time (6 - 8 hours a day)
  • Ability to travel and navigate a casino environment domestically and abroad
  • Hands-on factory, office environment and casino environment. This is NOT a remote role.
  • Domestic and potential international travel –but could sporadically be up to 20% of the time.
