We are looking for an experienced Senior Collections Representative to join our team in Northwood, Ohio. This position is a Contract to permanent role, offering the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in handling high-volume collections while working closely with our Accounts Receivable team. The role will initially be onsite, with potential for remote in the future.

Responsibilities :

• Manage high-volume collections, focusing on commercial accounts, and ensure timely payments.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable Manager and team to address outstanding balances and implement credit holds as necessary.
• Utilize Salesforce and laboratory systems to track and manage collections activities efficiently.
• Analyze credit data and approve credit terms based on established guidelines.
• Prepare detailed reports on collection activities and account statuses for review.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring open communication and resolution of payment issues.
• Contribute to team dynamics by encouraging collaboration and maintaining a friendly, detail-oriented environment.
• Assist in integrating new systems and processes to enhance collections operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all credit and collections activities.
• Proven experience in commercial collections, preferably with high-volume accounts.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and laboratory systems for collections management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess credit data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Confidence in handling complex collections scenarios and implementing credit holds.
• Ability to adapt to a hybrid work schedule, transitioning from remote to in-office work.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and compliance standards in credit and collections.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
