Financial Planning Consultant
The Financial Planning Consultant plays a pivotal role in advancing financial planning adoption and excellence across U.S. Bank Wealth Management. This strategic role will partner closely with wealth management teams, field leaders, and other stakeholders to elevate the client experience through planning expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Coaching and Support :
- Serve as a planning SME to wealth management teams, providing proactive coaching and consultative guidance
- Collaborate with field leaders to identify high impact teams and opportunities for planning growth
- Strategize with teams on client goals, planning approaches, and implementation
Planning Adoption and Influence :
Drive traction and adoption of financial planning tools and processes across the fieldPartner with leadership to promote planning as a core component of the client relationshipsAct as a change agent, helping teams prepare for and embrace planning-related enhancementsProduct Training and Enablement :
Develop and deliver engaging presentations and educational content for teams and field leadershipProvide ongoing support for planning technology, tools, and best practicesOperational Excellence and Risk Management :
Lead initiatives to improve planning processes, ensure quality through plan reviews, and uphold risk management standardsBasic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience10 or more years of experience in wealth managementPreferred Qualifications :
Deep expertise in retirement and wealth management financial planningWell developed verbal and written communication skillsExperience in developing educational content and delivering impactful trainingConsultative mindset with a strategic approach to influenceFamiliarity with financial planning technology platformsProven ability to build and maintain relationshipsFINRA Series 7 & 63, or willingness to obtainBenefits :
