Job Description

NELOGIS is seeking a Site Manager to support DLA Distribution San Diego (DDDC). DDDC’s primary mission is to manage and execute efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory, packaging, Care of Supplies in Storage, stock control, stock selection, issue processing, packing, shipping, and distribution of repair parts and secondary items in support of on-base, local, and worldwide customers.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversees the inventory operations of Government-owned mission stock.
  • Directs employees engaged in conducting WMS inventories, researching inventory discrepancies, and documenting gains and losses through causative research, performing denial research, item data maintenance, and location surveys.
  • Responsible for ensuring the inventory integrity of the Government-owned mission stock meets the Acceptable Performance Levels (APLs) outlined in the contract.
  • Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected workload on a weekly or monthly basis.
  • Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager and / or Alternate Site Manager.
  • Redirects workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations.
  • Conducts planning of current and future work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations as to the scheduling of projected work.
  • Ensures work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and condition of the contract.
  • Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS.

Qualifications

Must have previous experience working at a DLA Distribution Facility

A minimum 3 years of experience in inventory using WMS or equivalent automated WMS within the past 5 years

  • Must be eligible to obtain and retain a U.S. Secret Clearance
  • Additional Information

    Position is Full Time Positions (40 hrs per week).

    A plus if currently possesses or previously held a U.S. Secret Clearance.
