Job Overview :

As an HR Technology Analyst, you’ll serve as the technical SME and a trusted point of contact for our Human Resources partners. You’ll manage system administration, support, and maintenance of HR platforms—including Core HCM, time and attendance, payroll, talent management, talent acquisition, etc.

A core responsibility of this role is leading the development and delivery of HR reporting and analytics that drive strategic decision-making. You’ll design and maintain dashboards, generate recurring and ad hoc reports, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Your work will help uncover trends, measure performance, and tell compelling stories that shape HR strategy.

You’ll collaborate with HR COEs, Payroll, Benefits, and Operations teams to advance initiatives and identify process improvement opportunities through data flow analysis. Additional responsibilities include security administration, system configuration, and support for HR Technology implementations, upgrades, releases, and testing. The role requires independent judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential data.

Proficiency with tools such as ADP Vantage, ADP WorkforceNow, ADP eTime, Jobvite, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI SQL is highly valued.

Your Responsibilities :

  • HR Technology :
  • Champion and serve as a technical expert for Human Resources Technology.
  • Manage HR Technology configuration, security administration, system updates, and overall functionality / performance for HR Technology applications.
  • Partner with HR Technology teammates to share knowledge, ensure coverage and collaborate on solutions.
  • Research, devise solutions, and resolve HR System issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend alternatives to meet requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality within all HR technologies and vendor systems, through routine auditing, data validations, and corrective actions.
  • Proactively utilize technology to increase effectiveness, accuracy, value, and customer satisfaction / adoption of all HR technologies.
  • Collaborate with HR teammates and other departments to ensure process efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Create, update, and maintain system / process / configuration documentation.
  • Build and grow positive business relationships and influence across the organization as well as external vendor teams to provide systems support and analysis, and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of HR and users of the HR Technology throughout the organization.
  • Develop and oversee full-scope project planning, including strategically assessing business and stakeholder requirements.
  • Act as Point of Contact for assigned support / system areas and cross-train others on the support team.
  • Analyze information / situations, define issues, articulate logical recommendations, and recognize alternatives and their implications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
  • Data Management & Analysis :
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple systems and sources (Core HR, Payroll, Applicant Tracking, Learning Management, employee surveys, etc.).
  • Develop, generate, analyze, and distribute HR data reports, identify trends, patterns, and Key HR Metrics to provide data and actionable insights to HR Partners, business leadership, and any other customers.
  • Create and maintain data integrations with third-party vendors to automate processes, improve data consistency, and ensure seamless data flow and compliance across systems, using tools like ADP Reporting and ADP Data Bridge internally.
  • Assist with the implementation, testing and maintenance of more complex data integrations, APIs and Connectors, created by third-party vendors, from specification to production.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy across all HR systems, including conducting regular audits and ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CPRA, PII, SOX).
  • Utilize data analysis tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and others to extract and transform HR data, creating templates, dashboards and visualizations that allow us to tell a story with data.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on HR Technology or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on Reporting and Analytics experience creating visualizations and identifying data insights and trends required.
  • Solid understanding and expertise in Core HCM, Benefits, Onboarding, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Talent / Performance Management, and Recruiting systems is highly desirable.  Previous ADP Vantage HCM, ADP WorkforceNow, ADP eTime, and Jobvite (ATS) experience a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of data management and complex report writing skills required.
  • Proficient at Data Analytics tools like PowerBi, Tableau, and SQL is highly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, balance and manage multiple efforts with strong results necessary.
  • Prior experience working as a liaison between HR and vendors is highly desirable.
  • Customer focused individual who must be able to effectively work in a fast paced & fluid business environment with competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytic skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize independently while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to produce accurate work under pressure with frequent deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality, tact and independent judgment in the performance of duties.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills to all levels of the organization and business partners.
