As a Data Center Operations Specialist, you will be a Member of the data center operations staff, which installs, maintains, monitors, analyzes, and troubleshoots data center equipment for multiple data centers. Install infrastructure equipment in the data center space. Ensure that the infrastructure requirements for all new equipment are met (power, space & cooling requirements). Monitor IT hardware inventories related to systems, space and requests for moves, add and change of hardware. Ensure that the infrastructure requirements for all new equipment are met and the environment of all critical facilities and equipment zones are maintained.

Install and maintain data center infrastructure, including cabling, racks, PDUs, switches, and cable management systems.

Perform hardware installations, moves, adds, changes (MACs), and decommissions.

Physically assist with racking, stacking, and relocating IT equipment.

Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, including power and environmental systems.

Conduct IT system power cycles and replace failed hardware components.

Maintain accurate inventory of IT hardware and ensure compliance with asset management processes.

Enforce security protocols and compliance standards within the data center.

Ensure proper destruction of data on decommissioned systems in accordance with company policy.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency of the data center environment.

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.
