Job Description : George Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer / Architect to lead the design, development, and integration of advanced cloud-based solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to formulate system objectives, solve complex problems, and deliver innovative cloud architectures in support of client requirements. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to manage major phases of high-visibility projects.
Roles and Responsibilities :
The Program Analyst responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Contribute to overall strategic vision and integrate a broad range of solutions in support of client cloud projects.
- Define system scope and objectives, developing or modifying processes to address complex challenges in cloud systems, business, and electronic interfaces.
- Design, develop, and implement innovative technologies to achieve desired results.
- Apply advanced engineering and design methods, theories, and research techniques to investigate and solve complex cloud requirements.
- Lead the design, development, engineering, integration, and architecture of cloud-based solutions, including hardware / software interfaces and applications.
- Plan, manage, and execute significant phases of major projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and organizational strategy.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN AN ACTIVE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.

8+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environmentsExperience with integration of SW with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) ArchitectureExperience with integration of SW with IBM WebSphere and Red Hat OpenShift on AzureExperience hosting applications on commercial cloud providers with a focus on Azure environmentsExperience with containerization and container orchestration platforms and tools including Docker or KubernetesExperience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle andActive Secret clearanceBachelor's degreeNice to Have :

Job Description : George Consulting is seeking a HPC Application Support Engineer to support a classified project in Alexandria, VA. Roles and Responsibilities : The HPC Application Support Engineer will be responsible for the following :
Manage, deploy, and support applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Work with users to customize applications and configure software development, integration, and production environments to specificationWork with HPC vendors to identify hardware and software solutions to meet system requirementsMonitor internally developed applications for impact to system performance and resource utilizationTune applications to optimize performance and reliability of services across the High-Performance Computing (HPC) ecosystemDiagnose application problems quickly and effectivelyAutomate administration procedures for routine and complex tasksProvide backup HPC system administration supportCoordinate with vendors to resolve software problemsWork with team to define and implement best practicesAble to work independently with limited direction and be self-motivated.Able to work with other contractor teammates and customers daily.Able to work closely with customers to ensure deliverables meet their expectations and arrive in a timely manner.Attend and actively participate in team meetings.
