Glendale, AZ - L / I - MCCCD - Glendale Community College - Req # (Local Only / 100% Onsite)

Contract : 12+ Months

Location : 6000 W. Olive Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85302

Shift Hours : Monday to Friday, 4 AM to 1 PM (40 Hours / Week). OT Expected.

  • The resource MUST be able to clear a 7 year Package A background, and sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Job Summary

  • The Groundskeeper will perform a full range of grounds maintenance and gardening duties ; assists in various related c onstruction and landscaping projects ; and prepares and maintains athletic fields and other special venues according to the user's request or published specifications.
  • They will train and help temporary employees on a daily basis.
  • The Groundskeeper must have a basic knowledge of horticulture, arboriculture, property chemical handling, sprinkler and irrigation systems , and be knowledgeable in basic tool maintenance and other general cleaning techniques.
  • This person must be able to run a wide range of turf and landscape industry equipment.
