POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health and substance abuse services. This role involves supervising counselors and support staff, providing clinical oversight, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. The Clinical Supervisor works closely with the Director of Clinical Services to implement effective treatment programs and maintain a supportive environment for both staff and clients. They are also expected to carry a moderate patient caseload.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following :
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation to staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards for Substance Use Disorders (SUD).
- Aid in the recruitment, training, and onboarding on clinical staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback on a consistent basis.
- Schedule and assign duties to ensure adequate staffing levels and effective service delivery.
- Address staff issues and conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Review and approve treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge plans.
- Conduct regular case reviews and clinical team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
- Ensure the implementation of evidence-based practices and interventions.
- Oversee the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clients.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care that meets the needs of diverse populations.
- Address complex or high-risk cases, providing direct clinical intervention as necessary.
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate client care and streamline operations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic care planning.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
CADCII required.Expert on SUD related compliance including HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), and American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).Minimum of 5 years of experience in substance abuse treatment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.Solid experience with direct patient care is required.In-depth knowledge of addiction and MAT.Familiarity with various substance abuse treatment modalities, including individual counseling, group therapy, and support groups.Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions in complex situations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and providing compassionate care.Understanding of legal and ethical considerations related to substance abuse treatment and patient care.CPR certification is required.COMPENSATION
70,000 - $85,000 DOE
