About the Job
The Department of Radiation Oncology, within the Medical School, is seeking to fill a Graduate Research Assistant (RA) position. The RA performs research related to radiation therapy or imaging under the supervision of a Medical Physics Graduate Program faculty. The Medical Physics Graduate Program Director will assign the RA to faculty depending on the available projects and the candidate’s skills. The duties include : collecting background information and literature search, data collection and analysis, and producing a report which may be submitted to a regional or national scientific or professional meeting. The RA may be expected to perform programming (in the code they are proficient in) and perform statistical analysis.
The position is expected to work primarily on-site. Your work location will be in the Department of Radiation Oncology suite, located in the Phillips-Wangensteen Building, 1st floor.
