The Senior IT Manager will possess deep expertise in both hardware and software systems, with a proven track record of implementing innovative IT solutions that drive operational efficiency and support business transformation. This role requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors to ensure our IT infrastructure supports our growth and sustainability goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives and industry trends.
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing IT-enabled business transformation initiatives.
- Manage IT operating budgets, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of systems supporting manufacturing operations.
- Manage virtualization environments and Windows system administration.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols in alignment with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal IT policies.
- Conduct regular IT audits and risk assessments.
- Provide hands-on support for hardware and software issues across the organization.
- Lead incident management and disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Maintain service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely resolution of IT service desk tickets.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party software providers.
- Oversee software documentation, integration, and lifecycle management.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support and optimize ERP systems tailored to battery manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to integrate IT solutions with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices.
- Lead IT project implementation from planning through execution and post-deployment support.
- Drive change management initiatives to support technology adoption and process improvement.
- Manage IT operations across global sites, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Support IT integration during mergers and acquisitions, including acquisition planning and execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.10+ years of progressive experience in IT management, preferably in manufacturing or energy sectors.Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and vendor negotiations.Strong understanding of business continuity planning and IT compliance.Excellent communication, leadership, and technical problem-solving skills.Experience with Active Directory, ERP systems, and network infrastructure.Certifications in ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or similar are a plus.Global experience and familiarity with acquisition integration preferred.Desired Skills and Qualifications
