Pay : 19.80 per hour

Hours : 3 : 30PM-2 : 00AM, M-F

Job Summary :

We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused Cutoff Setup Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate metal cutoff machines to produce quality tube parts used in further manufacturing processes like bending, welding, and forming.

Key Responsibilities :

Set up and operate cutoff machines, Kaltenbach saws, and table lathes

Follow routing instructions and blueprints for part specifications

Use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, gauges) to ensure part accuracy

Perform quality checks and record sample measurements

Adjust machines during production runs to maintain tolerances

Move materials using pallet jacks and forklifts

Collaborate with team leads and engineers on new processes or tooling

Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements :

Mechanical aptitude and shop math skills (fractions, decimals, metric)

Ability to read blueprints and setup instructions

Proficient with measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, templates)

Comfortable lifting, bending, and standing for full shifts

Forklift operation experience preferred (training available)

Must have hand tools for machine setup and adjustments

Must pass the CTP Setup Test
