About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support our plant operations by ensuring timely acquisition of parts, materials, and services. This role plays a key part in maintaining a well-stocked and efficient maintenance department, working closely with vendors and internal teams. You will also supervise the Maintenance Clerk and help manage purchasing processes in line with company standards and budget.
Key Responsibilities :
Process non-stock purchase orders from requisitions
Assist with issuing vendor RFPs and securing quotes for services and materials
Manage stock purchase orders using ERP system (D365 preferred)
Track and report purchase orders against the monthly budget
Communicate with vendors to schedule and track deliveries
Audit vendor invoices and assist Accounts Payable with coding and PO adjustments
Maintain accurate historical records and generate purchasing reports
Support multiple departments with procurement of supplies
Supervise the Maintenance Clerk to ensure efficient inventory and stock levels
Qualifications :
2–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience
Background in maintenance or manufacturing environments preferred
Strong time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional office management or procurement certifications are a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
