Position Summary

The Executive Director plays a pivotal role in advancing YFC's mission. This role requires spiritual and organizational leadership, strong communication, management, and persuasion skills. The Director must embody YFCs Cultural Attributes : Christ-centeredness, humility, trust, faithfulness, camaraderie, and diversity. Responsibilities include leading, inspiring, and executing the community vision, developing staff and volunteers, and managing financial resources. The position reports to the HYFC Board of Directors.

Essential Functions

  • Create and communicate vision
  • Develop and execute strategic plans
  • Mentor and coach staff and volunteers
  • Build authentic Christ-sharing relationships
  • Manage resources and fundraising efforts
  • Uphold spiritual responsibilities, including prayer, teaching, and modeling faith
  • Meet fundraising goals and maintain donor relationships

Position Requirements

  • Significant leadership experience in youth organizations
  • Financial management and fundraising skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelors degree in a related field and at least five years of experience
