GHD is seeking a Senior Project Engineer Water Treatment to join our team based in our Phoenix, AZ office. We are seeking someone with experience in the evaluation, planning, and / or design of Water and Wastewater treatment infrastructure projects, including alternatives analysis; preliminary and process design; treatment facilities design; and engineering services during construction. We are working on some of the most cutting-edge programs in the U.S., including organics-to-energy.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will provide design guidelines, technical oversight, project engineering and management services, client management and business development relating to Water and Wastewater projects. Further, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team in sophisticated and innovative projects, support in the training and mentorship of engineers and other technicians and become part of our regional leadership team.

Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities, such as roads, railroads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, power plants, and water and sewage systems.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in :

• Design engineering solutions and the associated validation process to enable the realization of a design brief
• Contribute to the analysis of information, the drafting of engineering standards and specifications
• Deliver small- or medium-scale projects
• Analyze information and specify the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment
• Deliver required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers
• Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs
• Work within established knowledge management systems
• Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities
• Carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works
• Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures
• Manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger key clients

Salary Range : $96,000-$145,000 based on experience
