POSITION TITLE : Site Coordinator
POSITION TYPE : School Year
POSITION : Non-Exempt / Full Time Equiv. Little Lake City School District
HOURS PER WEEK : Up to 32 hours per week
REPORTS TO : Program Supervisor / Area Director
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Responsible for all aspects of staff supervision, program planning / implementation, and communication with school.
NOTES
- Based on the format of the school day, programs may be virtual / distance learning
- This position is contingent upon the proper implementation of the program guidelines and continued grant funding
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and ensure the safety of members at all times maintaining a safe physical and emotional environmentSupervises supports and assists in training and development of site staff and volunteersProvide leadership to a team of program staff to design and implement programsResponsible for overall member and staff discipline and corrective behaviorWork effectively with the school principal, teachers, and the local communityAble to problem solve, communicate effectively, set priorities and goals, resolve conflict and manage time effectively and meet deadlinesEvaluate performance of site staff and assist Program Supervisor / Area Director with evaluation of overall programResponsible for coordinating with Area Director or Program Supervisor regarding overall program schedules for school year (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly)Facilitate weekly staff meetings and assist with staff training in order to maintain program’s vision and the organization’s missionInteract with guardians / parents and handle all questions or concerns that may ariseEnsure that all required grant requirements are met, specifically :Daily attendance target numbers are reached – (upwards of 100 students per day)Responsible for maintaining early release folder for school siteMinimum attendance requirements are metWeekly and monthly attendance & enrollment reports are kept and submitted in timely mannerEducational enrichment of grant is incorporated into programHomework assistance of grant is incorporated into programPhysical recreation element of grant is incorporated into programFormulating and executing Continuous Quality Improvement goalsAttend required state, school district, organization, and site meetings.Assist staff with member supervision when requiredLead staff during lesson planning sessionsMaintain membership copies of application folder –and submitting new applications to Main ClubhouseComplete incident reports as necessary –and file / submit copies to Area Director / Program Supervisor in a timely mannerSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
48 college units completed –Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required (or equivalency test)Strong verbal and written communication skillsComputer literacy skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office programsBilingual – Spanish Preferred but not requiredExperience working with youthStrong organization, leadership, management & interpersonal skillsMandatory CPR and First Aid certificationLive Scan Fingerprint & T.B. TestA one school year commitment or longer to the programValid California Drivers License with clean driving recordAbility to work weekends, when needed (e.g., special events)Mandated Reporter Training / Sexual Harassment Training, course to be provided.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
