Data Engineer

A well-established credit union is hiring a Data Engineer to strengthen its technology team. This role focuses on building and optimizing pipelines that power reporting, analytics, and member-focused applications. You’ll work with Python, SQL, and modern cloud platforms to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable data solutions that directly impact business outcomes.

You’ll partner closely with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to design data systems that ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges in a mission-driven financial services environment.

Full-time, hybrid position in Boston.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years in data engineering or a related discipline

Strong Python and SQL skills for ETL and data transformation

Hands-on experience with Airflow, Spark, or similar tools

Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP

Knowledge of data warehousing principles and database design

Clear communicator with cross-team collaboration skills

Docker, Kubernetes

Hadoop, Kafka, or Redshift

Data modeling and schema design

CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Exposure to ML pipelines or MLOps
