Job Summary
Departmental -Specific Responsibilities
- Responsible for completing tasks that support activities such as advising students on career development and planning.
- Duties may include assisting with the facilitation of seminars and workshops, representation of career services internally and externally through presentations and interviews, and maintain contacts with institutions and companies.
- Assists students in the use of facility resources; advise students concerning resources and services.
- Coordinates and oversees logistics for on-campus career days, job fairs, and other on-site recruiting programs.
- Frequently assists students, employers, parents, and prospective students in gathering more information on career services and answering related questions.
- Provides administrative support by answering calls and emails, distributing mail, scheduling meetings, and maintaining databases.
- Performs data entry and compile employment reports for analysis of employer hiring.
- May train or supervise temporary staff.
General Responsibilities
Coordinates on-campus recruitment events to connect students with potential employers.Assists with managing relationships with employers and alumni through regular communication.Assists with implementing on- and / or off-campus events and participates in planning, employer relations, student marketing, event execution, and post-event evaluation.Helps coordinate the logistics and scheduling of information sessions, on-campus interviews, class presentations, and networking events hosted by the career center, featuring alumni and employer representatives.Oversees the online job and internship posting process and makes critical decisions during the review process to ensure all postings adhere to office and campus policies.Interprets and enforces policies pertinent to third-party recruiting and other employment conditions.Reports and analyzes recruiting data for detailed, annual evaluation.Meets regularly with colleagues to assist with analyzing recruitment trends and plan employer relations strategies that enhance existing relationships and identify new opportunities.Qualifications

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus.
