Senior Tax Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sr Tax Manager to join our team. This role offers a direct placement opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package. The position is primarily on-site with hybrid flexibility available after training. You will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting and tax-related tasks, focusing on tax preparation and review, client service, business development, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Essential Skills

  • 5-7+ years of public accounting tax experience including preparation, review, and accounting.
  • Experience working with clients / entities, partnership returns, sales tax preparation, and financial statement reviews (1040, 1065, 1120).
  • Proficiency in tax software, with experience in CCH or Thomson Reuters being a strong plus.
  • CPA / EA certification or eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance or a related field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • MBA or CMA is preferred but not required.
  • Active CPA / EA certification is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish / English) are a plus.
  • Interest or experience in business valuations is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Permanent position based out of Salem, Oregon.

    Pay and Benefits
