Job Description :

Forward Slope Inc. currently has one (1) full-time opening for a Software Engineer IV (Principal Software Engineer). This position is hybrid located in San Diego, CA and typically requires, on-site work of 3 days per week. This position has the option to work a 9 / 80 schedule, which is a compressed work schedule, with alternate Fridays off.

Forward Slope, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic software engineer to provide modern software development and sustainment of full-stack web applications for the Department of Defense (DoD). Day-to-day efforts include working with highly talented professionals and subject matter experts to support mission-critical software systems that provide US Navy warfighters with the tools and resources for successfully planning and executing missions.

Required Qualifications :

• Currently hold an active US security clearance or be able to obtain one
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics
• 12+ years of demonstrated full-stack software development experience with :

Object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, Python, C#, C++)

Desired Qualifications :

Automated testing (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)

Clearance Information : Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information.
