We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Apparel Specialist I to join our team!
The Apparel Specialist I is integral to our production team, focusing on the finishing touches that ensure apparel meets the highest standard of quality. This entry-level position is designed for individuals passionate about apparel and detail-oriented work.
Requirements :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Assists in the production of apparel products, ensuring that performance and quality standards are consistently met.
2. Operates Melco embroidery machines and DTF (Direct to Film) equipment under supervision, learning to adjust settings and monitor output quality.
3. Develops a strong working knowledge of all apparel products and fabrics.
4. Ensures products are produced and shipped on time, maintaining adherence to deadlines.
5. Reads and understands job tickets with attention to detail.
6. Organizes, prepares, and finishes apparel products through FIFO (First In First Out).
7. Prepares apparel products for shipping by trimming and cleaning garments to the highest quality standards.
8. Stocks materials and organizes inventory to support continuous production workflow.
9. Displays proficiency and works towards expert knowledge of all apparel products, materials, and tools associated with trimming.
10. Executes daily maintenance, production, and shipping needs under the guidance of the Apparel Manager.
11. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
12. Performs basic cleaning and routine checks of embroidery and DTF equipment.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
