Executive Producer, KRIS

Take the helm of South Texas storytelling! KRIS, the E.W. Scripps station in Corpus Christi, is seeking a dynamic Executive Producer who will manage newscasts and local programs with strategic vision and editorial excellence. You'll be the driving force behind the news that matters most to our community, shaping compelling content that resonates across multiple platforms and makes a real impact in the lives of our viewers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• Manage newscasts or local program content and showcasing across multiple platforms
• Collaborate with editors, producers and / or the assignment desk to select stories for coverage
• Oversee and edit the writing of content, including but not limited to teases and web headlines
• Develop and manage effective workflow strategies and procedures for multiple programs
• Manage pre-production to ensure quality and ethical standards and coordination between control room and design staff
